Machelle's Samoan Language Week.

In the morning we all went in the hall and we had lot of fun because some Samoan kindergarten came and performed. Then some of the Pt. England School kids performed too. After the Pt England kids performed the Tamaki College Samoan people came and performed and I liked it.

  1. Hi Machelle,

My name is Machelle Childers and I am a 2nd grade teacher in Forest Grove, Oregon in the United States. A teacher who is visiting your school right now told me about your blog. I think it is pretty awesome that we spell our names the same way. I have only met one other person who has spelled it that way. Now I know two! :) It is not a common way to spell Machelle in the United States. Is it a common way to spell it in New Zealand? I like your colorful blog and learning about your school. What did the performers do today? Did they sing or dance?

    Have a great day!
